Bed & Breakfast at Alexis House, Bath

Simone Johnson offers Bed and Breakfast in her very comfy and gracious family home on the Southern slopes of Bath. She speaks French and Spanish, and has two excellent and beautifully appointed bedrooms - a double and a twin - each with private facilities. With its box parterre, roses and lavender, the garden adds a French and formal feel. The views beyond the garden and the canal are of Bath Abbey set amid the lovely Georgian city centre.
Alexis House is conveniently situated on Sydney Buildings, off Bathwick Hill - one of the best addresses in Bath. It has private parking and is close to a stop on the frequent 18/418 bus route that links the University of Bath to the city centre, well under a mile away away. It is within walking distance of the city centre, rail and bus stations, and close to Widcombe - a lovely stroll along the canal towpath - with its well known eating places such as The White Hart, the Ring o' Bells, and the 3 Porcini.
Across the National Trust fields behind the house, you can walk up to the top of Bathwick or Widcombe Hill and link up with the Bath Skyline Walk.
Rates per night start from £85 double or £65 single including a delicious breakfast that may be served on the patio, weather permitting. We cater for vegetarians. Children over 12 and babies are welcome. Guests are asked not to smoke in the house. Payment is by cash or UK cheque, as there are no credit card facilities. There is free Wifi for use by guests who bring their own suitable equipment.
